WITS Programs Foundation

We promote kindness and prevent bullying and discrimination. Formerly named the Rock Solid Foundation, WPF’s mission is to create safe places for children and youth through education. Programs include WITS (discovered & developed in Esquimalt), Canadian Kindness Leaders, Pink Shirt Project, and annual show Pink Shirt Day Canada. All offerings are free to schools serving the children and youth of Esquimalt.

WPF is a local success story: all programs are delivered nation-wide, with a particular focus on our home province of BC, and the WITS Program is now in several countries. Well-known in greater Victoria, W.I.T.S. stands for Walk away, Ignore, Talk it out and Seek help: simple conflict resolution strategies for young children.
